Are you looking for ways to deepen your connection with your child and become a more confident parent? Look no further than Familial Encouraging Connection Therapy (FECT)! Our program is designed to empower parents and caregivers with the skills and insights they need to foster meaningful relationships and effective communication with their children.

What is FECT?

FECT is a comprehensive parenting program based on Adlerian psychological theory. Through a series of 10 engaging sessions, participants will explore various aspects of parenting, including attitudes toward play, non-directive play therapy skills, understanding children’s behaviors, and much more.

What You’ll Learn:

  • Explore your own attitudes and experiences with play

  • Master non-directive play therapy skills for effective communication

  • Understand your family dynamics and its impact on parenting

  • Learn practical strategies for dealing with misbehavior

  • Discover fun and structured play activities to enhance interactions with your child

  • And much more!

Program Details

  • Sessions: 10 instructional sessions on Zoom with structured homework assignments

  • Duration: Small group sessions (4 participants maximum) lasting 1.5 - 2 hours

  • Method: Combination of lectures, demonstrations, experiences, and feedback from facilitators

  • Additional Requirement: Making and sharing videos of at-home play sessions with your child

 

Insurance Billing

Insurance can be billed for participation in this therapeutic group, ensuring accessibility for all families seeking to enhance their parenting skills. Self-pay options are also available.
