Play Therapy Supervision

As a Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor™ and Advanced Certified Adlerian Play Therapist, Abby provides specialized supervision and consultation for clinicians seeking to deepen their work with children and families through play. Her approach blends developmental understanding, neuroscience, and evidence-based practice with strong attention to the therapeutic relationship. Supervisees are supported in building practical skills, conceptualizing cases through a play therapy lens, and growing confidence in the playroom while maintaining ethical and culturally responsive care. Whether you are pursuing your Registered Play Therapist™ credential or looking to strengthen your clinical foundation, supervision is collaborative, experiential, and tailored to your professional goals.

Training Opportunities

Through Common Spring Learning & Consulting, I offer professional trainings for clinicians, organizations, schools, and community partners seeking to deepen their understanding of trauma-informed care and therapeutic approaches that support children, families, and healing.

Trainings can be customized for a variety of settings and may range from introductory presentations to more focused clinical or practice-based learning opportunities. My goal is to provide trainings that are engaging, practical, and grounded in both evidence-based practice and real-world clinical application.

If you are interested in bringing a training to your team, organization, or event, please reach out to learn more. I would be happy to discuss your needs and tailor a training opportunity that aligns with your goals.

Play Room Consultation

Create a therapeutic play space with intention.

Through Common Spring Learning & Consulting, I offer consultation for therapists, practices, and organizations looking to create or strengthen therapeutic play spaces. Whether you are building a play room from the ground up or simply need support choosing toys and materials for your current space, consultation is tailored to your goals, budget, and stage of development.

Services may include:

  • Play room design from the ground up

  • Toy and material selection

  • Review of an existing play space

  • Recommendations for therapeutic play categories and room setup

  • Budget-conscious phased planning

  • Ongoing consultation as your space grows

A therapeutic play room is more than a room full of toys! The play room is is a clinical tool. My goal is to help you create a space that feels intentional, functional, and supportive of meaningful therapeutic work.

Social Work Supervision

Abby offers licensure supervision for LLMSWs in a supportive, trauma-informed, and strengths-based environment designed to foster both clinical growth and professional identity. She is passionate about mentoring early-career clinicians and provides thoughtful guidance in case conceptualization, diagnosis, treatment planning, documentation, and ethical decision-making. Supervision emphasizes developing clinical judgment, increasing confidence, and helping supervisees discover their authentic therapeutic style. Abby welcomes clinicians from agency and private practice settings, including those who may not have access to on-site LMSW supervision.
